Help Required - Carnival 2014

Over the past few years the number of people involved in making sure that Little Eaton Carnival is a successful, fun and safe week has grown considerably, however there are times when some key people feel that a new set of eyes and ideas are needed for their part of the organisation.

The Carnival Committee, made up entirely of local volunteers, views this as a healthy and important part of making sure Carnival evolves and does not stagnate.

This year we have a number of quite important positions that are available for new people to join the Carnival team. They include:

 

  • Programme Editor – NOW FILLED
  • Programme Distributor – NOW FILLED
  • Sunday Co-Ordinator- pulling together Picnic in the park, Crowning and entertainment
  • Crowning Co-Ordinator – Organising Queen, Attendants and all the trimmings!!!
  • Friday Set Up Crew – getting the park ready for Saturday’s main event (1-2 hours  anual work on Fri evening)
  • Saturday Take down Crew – clearing the park on  Saturday afternoon (1-2 hours at 5pm)

We are also looking forward to Carnival 2015 which will be Little Eaton Carnival’s 90th year and will be planning a whole series of events and new activities which hopefully will be fun to get involved in both as an organiser and a participant.
