Call My Bluff Wine Tasting - 20 March 2010

This was a great evening with plenty of debate about the wined being tasted. The usual offerings of wine descriptions did not help much, which is the norm on these Tastings!

Syd Whitehead organised another good event. Profits were £330.

Yorkshire Puddings Evening on 22 May 2010

This was another of our food

evenings which seem to go well. There were four different fillings to have and second helping too! An excellent cheese selection to follow.  Thanks to Margaret Jackson and Daphne Baines it was a real success.  Many thanks to all who provided the food choices.  Take a look at the photos!

Profits were £326.89.

Pipes in the Peak - June 5

A coach trip the Thorpe to hear the Compton Theatre Organ and the Ockbrook Big band playing to a packed house. We had just enough people to enable us to use a coach, about 30 enjoyed the evening. Thanks again to David Colebrook and Jan Edgar for organising the event. We just about broke even, but it was a good evening.

As from the June edition, the LECA Newsletter has been replaced

by a LITTLE EATON NEWSLETTER which is organised by the Parish Council.
